This project entailed the internal and external refurbishment of 5 No derelict industrial units (11,635 sq. ft).
The client’s objective was to convert the units into cost-efficient lettable business units and improve the overall visual appearance of the site. Adjacent to the property was a golf driving range, requiring additional health & safety measures to be implemented.
We carried out comprehensive site clearance, followed by appropriate internal refurbishment of all the units. Toilet blocks and kitchenettes were installed. New entrances were formed on the rear wall of the units.
The existing, high-level brickwork panels above the doors were removed. We infilled these new openings with a Lexan 50mm polycarbonate cladding system. This required careful consideration and integration with the roof panels and surrounding brickwork. We achieved a quality finish here, which greatly enhanced the external visual of the building and introduced natural daylight into the internal spaces.
A new landscaping layout improved the overall look of the surrounding area.
