The project entailed a significant estate upgrade. The overall client vision was to focus on sustainability, and we worked in close collaboration with the project consultants to achieve this.

Externally, to the units we applied anti-corrosion roof coatings. We replaced the existing skylights, lined the gutters, providing a clear bill of health in advance of installation of 248wpv solar panels across the entire roof of the estate. We then moved forward with chemical cleaning, targeted decorating, and CCTV installations. Each unit received EV charging points.

To the apron of each unit we carried out extensive block paver repairs and levelling including some reinforced concrete installation where instructed.

Concurrently, we undertook resurfacing, kerbing ad line-marking to the wider estate. We resurfaced the pavements, and installed pedestrian crossings and bollards throughout. In addition, we created a stylish, sheltered bike storage area. This involved close coordination with existing tenants and adjacent businesses.

As part of the security provisions, we installed automatic entry/exit gates for vehicles and pedestrians. The vehicle gates have both traditional and cantilever opening mechanisms.

Internally we completed full strip out and refurbishment of two units. In the first, we completed a traditional finish, retaining existing installations where possible. In the second, the client wanted to achieve a design-led finish including exposed HVAC and concrete floor to ancillary office space. The specified works and installations resulted in an A+ EPC rating for the units.

We are very proud of our work on this project, where we have transformed the estate into an impressive, fresh and inviting place to work in Park Royal.
